Owner doesn't pay his bills. Owes us over $2500, yelled and screamed at me for trying to collect. Told me his wife was dying and was on hospice, however he was lying. Tried to sue me -- and still avoiding contact with us to resolve. He lets meth / druggies stay on his property at no charge to allow them to work on facilities, and they have keys to all of the cabins... which means access to your stuff. I would NOT stay at this place. OH Mark & Cindy / Cinnmar Resorts / also NOW own Indian Point Resort -- we did the virtual tour $2500, and website rebuild... with only being paid $400 on the entire deal.
Overall we loved Indian Point Resort. Jim and Patti went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable time. The location was out of the was and for us very quite. We went late September so not a lot of people at the lake. We were able to see the lake from our cabin and the short walk was easy for us. The cabins were clean and well stocked for our needs. Extra things like air freshener in the bathrooms were a nice added touch. We were able to take out both the ski and the pontoon boat and both ran well. I did wish I would have brought my own water ski because their equipment was dated. I would have given it 5 stars but the cabins were a little old and the bathroom was small. Even with this, everything worked fine and we had a very enjoyable time. We did drive around the lake and looked at the other resorts that we had thought about staying in and Indian Point was much better than the other ones that I almost booked. One extra thing to know is the resort is on a gravel road 1.7 miles from the blacktop. So my wife and I had to adjust our daily runs and I wouldn't bring bikes for the kids.
Owners are very friendly, nice and extremely helpful. Go there often and never have a bad time! Amenities are great for cabin size.
